Principal Photography for Doug Is A Goddamn Millionaire took place in January & February 2020.
Leading up to production, we raised right under $7,000— and every cent of it was necessary. We used those funds to scrap our way into making a fun movie full of laughs and heart. Now, as we evaluate the steps left, there are a handful of costs associated with finishing the film.
Looking at what we have left— hiring a sound mixer/designer, a colorist, a composer, as well as having funds for soundtrack, and submitting to festivals— we’re hoping to have our community pitch in once more. We have set the post budget/finishing funds at $7,000. This would cover everything listed above.
